Self Help Community Music School launched mid July, we have 3 adult and one 12yr old drummer volunteer teachers. The good thing is that some teachers are learning theory with the students. We are trusting for recording studio equipment to start youth training in engineering, sequencing and music production thereby create jobs to empower youths talented in the arts.

Gobi & Self Help Community Outreach Spiritual Dancers performed at Higher Faith Development Music School Concert, 10 July 2010 where the focus was mainly on HIV Awareness. Gobi rendered 2 song items , Never Walk Alone and Everybody is Somebody. Our dancers were especially anointed, Gobi mentioned how they blessed him.

  • GOBI sang at the Cancer Survivor Day Celelbration Saturday June 5, 2010. He lifted their spirits which also inspired him very much.
  • GOBI sang at the 80th Birthday Party of Uncle Job of Belhar Lighthouse Church Saturday May 29, 2010.
  • Gobi ministered in song on Sunday 28 March 2010, 6pm, Lighthouse Church, Belhar at the Children's Church Talent Show. His contribution was to show the children that the "Evergreens" (a 70yr old) can still use his talent irrespective of age! Everyone was immensely blessed by his rendition of "Put your Faith in Him" & "Everybody is Somebody" that he was asked to do a "Blood" song on Good Friday!

    Gobi sang 4 of his original composition songs with the Evergreens Club members singing the choruses. It was the Seniors Appreciation Day at Lighthouse Family Church, Belhar, Cape Town  Sunday 4 September 2011.

    The Out of Africa Cultural Festival in Melbourne, Australia, November 6-7, 2010

  • IGM Trustees Gobi & Imelda attended to raise awareness, develop relationships and source investments for the community initiatives of Belhar. 
  • The Extravaganza Benefit Concert 17 October 2010 raised enough funds to cover 1 airfare and GCO Agencies generously donated the 2nd airfare to enable Gobi & Imelda to attend the Out of Africa Cultural Festival.
